CNN's Black in America 5

Last November, I had a small feature in Soledad O'Brien's "Black in America" series, focusing on racial identity. Some of my colorism work with children was highlighted.

Under The Rug

Under The Rug -- a theatre piece on colorism written and directed by Kiara Lee!

I recently put on a theatre peice at my school, University of Richmond. I wrote & directed the piece, with great help from Dr. Holland, the head of the theatre department at UR. The piece is a series of monologues that show how the black community is affected by colorism. The show debuted Thursday, April 19th at UR's Cousins Studio Theatre.
